From the moment he joined our family in 2008, he had an extraordinary gift for connecting with people. Strangers would stop mid-stride just to say hello, and he'd greet every single one as if they were an old friend.

Despite some respiratory issues in his later years, he never lost his warmth or his energy. He remained full of affection right up to the end - always ready for one more walk, one more new face, one more giant pawprint left on the world.
